MOTOR CONTROL
this is pretty much as it sounds
a motor is setup up with a series
of pins at the drive end
those pins are spaced just so apart
that they at certain times will
touch a switch of some sort
this switch then turns on and of the lights
how fast is determined by the motor
and the spacing of the switch
because this is motor driven there
is no need for a computer control
